Teachers, after you have had some time to unwind, you will start thinking about the next school year. Once you are back in the classroom you will be working at top speed, so now is a good time to do the things that you won’t have time for after August. Start thinking about themes and enrichment activities, bulletin boards and decorations. Plan your field trip ideas. Many teachers like to put together learning centers and file folder games during the summer to have them ready for school. Get your supplies early and beat the rush! Teachers may also want to do some reading in their professional areas. Along with your beach books, throw in some books about teaching and learning. Find out what other educators are thinking.
